Frequently asked questions
Therapy is powerful work, and if you're dealing with trauma, mental health challenges, or unresolved pain from the past, a licensed therapist is the right support. Coaching is something different.
Coaching starts from the assumption that you are whole, capable, and resourceful right now. We're not digging through the past to heal wounds. We're looking at where you are today, where you want to go, and what's getting in the way. The focus is forward. The work is about clarity, action, and building the life or business you actually want.
That said, good coaching absolutely addresses the inner game. Fear, self-doubt, perfectionism, the stories you tell yourself about what's possible, all of that comes up and we work through it. But we work through it in the context of where you're going, not where you've been.
If you're not sure which kind of support is right for you, that's a great thing to explore on a clarity call. Sometimes people need both, and there's no shame in that.
Self-help works until it doesn't. You can read the books, listen to the podcasts, and still find yourself in the same place a year later. That's not a failure of effort. It's a failure of perspective.
Trying to solve your own stuck is like trying to read a label from inside the bottle. You're too close to see it clearly. What coaching adds isn't more information. It's an outside eye, a structured process, and someone who can see what you can't, and help you move through it instead of around it.
Good. Because if you had it all figured out, you wouldn't need coaching. You don't come to this work with answers. You come with the question. And that question, the one that's been sitting with you, is exactly where we start.
Here's what I know after nearly two decades of doing this work: waiting until you feel ready is one of the most effective ways to stay stuck. Every client I've worked with who made a real shift did so before they felt completely ready. They just decided the discomfort of staying where they were was greater than the discomfort of taking the first step.
What I can tell you is this: coaching works when you're willing to show up honestly, do the work between sessions, and stay curious about what's getting in your own way. When those things are present, things shift. Every time. What I bring to that is nearly two decades of experience and a process that has helped scores of driven people move from stuck to in motion. I've seen patterns most people can't see in themselves. That's the work.
You don't have to have it together. You just have to be willing to start. The best way to find out if it's right for you is to get on a clarity call and find out for real.
You're further along than you think. Knowing what you want is not a small thing. A lot of people never get there. But knowing and doing are two very different things, and that gap between them is exactly where our work lives.
That gap isn't a character flaw. It's a sign that something is getting in the way, and that something has a name. Maybe it's fear. Maybe it's perfectionism. Maybe it's an unclear plan that makes starting feel impossible. Maybe it's all of the above. Whatever it is, it's not going to move on its own.
That's where I come in. We identify what's actually stopping you, not the surface stuff but the real stuff, and we build an approach that works with how you're wired. That's when knowing finally becomes doing.
Here's the honest truth: you will always be busy. Time won't magically appear. The question isn't whether you have time. It's whether this idea, this dream, this version of your life is worth making time for. The people who move forward aren't the ones who suddenly have more hours in the day. They're the ones who decided to stop waiting and start prioritizing.
If you're ready to be one of them, I'm ready to help. And if you're not there yet, that's okay too. Coaching works best when you're ready to commit. If now isn't the right time, I hope you'll come back when it is. Your dreams aren't going anywhere, and neither am I.
Coaching isn't a plan to blow up your life. It's a process for figuring out what you actually want and building a real path toward it, one that accounts for your actual life, your actual bills, and your actual responsibilities. The goal isn't to leap before you're ready. It's to stop standing still while the clock runs.
Most of the people I work with are doing exactly what you're doing: holding down a job, managing real obligations, and carrying around an idea or a goal or a version of their life that keeps getting pushed to next year. The work we do together doesn't require you to risk anything you're not ready to risk. It requires you to get honest about what you want, get clear on what's in the way, and start building toward it with intention instead of wishful thinking.
Here's the question worth sitting with: what is the plan if you don't do anything? Another year goes by. Then another. The idea is still there. The bills are still there. And you're still waiting for the right time that never quite arrives.
You don't have to have everything figured out financially to start moving. You just have to start moving.
That's a fair question, and I'll answer it honestly. But first, let's look at the question underneath the question: what is staying stuck costing you? In time, in opportunity, in the mental energy you spend every day going in circles, second-guessing yourself, and pushing the same idea to the back burner? That cost is real, even if it doesn't show up on a credit card statement.
Most clients say the shift they experience in even a few sessions is worth far more than they expected. Not because coaching is magic, but because finally getting clear and moving forward has a value that's hard to put a number on until you're on the other side of it.
We'll talk through the actual investment on your free clarity call. No pressure, no surprises. Just a real conversation about what's possible and what it takes to get there.
Then we've just done something incredibly valuable. That happens more than you'd think, and when it does, it's not a disappointment. It's a breakthrough.
Knowing what you don't want, and understanding why you've been chasing it anyway, saves you years of moving in the wrong direction. Years of pouring energy into something that was never really yours to begin with. That kind of honest discovery takes courage to be open to, and it's some of the most important work we can do together.
Clarity is clarity, even when it surprises you. The goal was never to confirm what you already thought you wanted. It was to find out what's actually true for you.
Coaching works best when you give it room to work. That's why I ask clients to commit to three months, 12 sessions. Not to lock you in, but because real change takes time. New habits need to be built. Plans need to be tested. Three months gives us that space.
More than a commitment to me, it's a commitment to yourself. That's the more important one. If at any point coaching no longer feels like the right fit, either of us can step back with seven days notice. No drama, no hard feelings.
If you're ready to commit to three months of showing up for yourself, I'm ready to show up with you.
With a free clarity call, and zero risk. You book a call, we talk, and you leave with more clarity than you came in with, whether we work together or not. No need to have anything figured out beforehand. Just show up as you are.
The hardest part isn't the call. It's deciding to make it. If something in you is saying "this is for me," that's worth paying attention to. Schedule your free clarity call. Let's find out what's possible.
